Our staff members are the heart and soul of our charity, bringing unwavering compassion, energy, and expertise to Happy Kids every single day. Driven by a shared mission to protect and empower young lives, our dedicated youth workers, specialists and volunteers tirelessly transform challenges into opportunities and despondency into hope, ensuring that the children we serve always feel heard, valued, and loved.
This is why we invest deeply in the professional growth and emotional well-being of our team. Every staff member receives comprehensive, continuous training in child-development, childhood wellbeing, specialized childcare practices, child protection and safeguarding and inclusion. This ensures that they are fully equipped to meet the diverse needs of the children we serve and comply with organisational policies and procedures.
Beyond building technical expertise, we foster a culture of robust supervision and peer mentorship, providing our team with the emotional backing and reflective spaces necessary to thrive in their vital roles. By prioritising their development and mental health, we ensure our staff can show up every time with the resilience, energy, and vibrancy that will maximise the outcomes for every child.
